Certain documents are required to complete the VAT registration application;

• A trade license/certificate of incorporation is required for businesses to operate legally and It must be valid and active. Validity and activity are determined by the relevant issuing authority regulation
• MOA and AOA are important legal documents for businesses. They confirm the shareholding of each partner in the business. They verify the authorized signatory of the business.
• Passports/Identity documents are required to collect the personal details of shareholders, and UAE resident cards are required for shareholders who are UAE residents. A trade license or certificate of incorporation is required for shareholder companies.
• An income statement is needed to verify the taxable revenue of a company
  If a company deals in taxable and non-taxable supplies, the total must be segregated
  The income statement should be on the company letterhead, stamped, and signed by an authorized signatory. However, Audited financial statements are not required
  The statement must be for the recent 12 months or past 11 months and future 30 days of confirmed revenue.
• Registering as a tax group requires a group structure.
• The document must include the trade license of all related businesses
  The business is responsible for disclosing related parties and other business relationships in the document
